SUTTON SPORTS & SOCIAL CLUB The club dates back to 1950 and operated under the name Midland Red Sports & Social Club until October 2007, when it was re-named the Sutton Sports & Social club. It was initially a social club for drivers who worked at the local bus garage which was based next to the club. The bus garage closed in 1984, but the club continued for many years after the bus garage closed, operating independently under the 'Midland Red' name. Although a small club it has a tradition for sports and pub games.
