Welcome to the site of Sutton Coldfield Superleague Darts Team. The team play in the Warwickshire Superleague and are based at Sutton Sports & Social Club (formerly known as the Midland Red Sports & Social Club) located on South Parade, Sutton Coldfield B72 1QU (accessed via Upper Holland Road). Sutton Sports most recently (9th February 2012) lost out 5-3 at home to Coventry Bishopsgate. Sutton's MOM was Ian McFarlane (26.84) whilst Mark Carter (27.19) was top average for the visitors.Best wishes from all the lads go to Brian Johnson & Mark Birch following their motor accident on the return journey from the Warwickshire County game at Hampshire. Brian in particular was badly injured in the accident and the thoughts of the whole team are with him as I am sure goes for everyone in the league. Fixtures in full on fixtures page. COUNTY DARTS Warwickshire play hosts to Lancashire on 28th/29th January in the Premier League. Congratulations to the Sutton lads retaining their places in the squad, namely Ian McFarlane in the A, and the trio of Mark Birch, Martin Brown & Matt Gallett in the B. Warwickshire recorded back to back wins with a 22-14 triumph over Cambridgeshire away on 3rd/4th December. Mens B won 9-3 and Ladies B won 4-2 on the Saturday to give Warwicks on overnight lead, and the Mens and Ladies A teams drew their games 6-6 and 3-3 respectively to secure the win. Sutton's Ian McFarlane (26.61) marked his County A debut with a 4-2 win over England Captain Martin Adams (27.26). Matt Gallett (25.94) recorded his first County win in the B after a run of 3-2 defeats beating Roger Berney (24.86). Mark Birch and Martin Brown lost out to Dan Whitlam & Chris Sheldrake respectively in the B match. Next up it's Lancashire at home (28th-29th January 2012). FOUR OAKS & DISTRICT DARTS LEAGUE Sutton Sports won 7-2 at Boldmere Sports this week to resurrect their outside hopes of a fifth straight league title. After Sutton Sports lost out 5-4 to the Sportsmans Rest the previous week the Plough had opened up a 4 point lead. This week the Sportsmans Rest continued their impressive form with a 5-4 win over the Plough. The Deers Leap ran out 8-1 winners over Old Oscott Arrows so 2 points now separates the top 3 sides and with all 3 having to play each other its game on again for all 3. The 3 pairs cup 2nd round saw Deers Leap beat The Plough 6-3 in the big game of the round. Sutton Sports had a bye to the last 8. The FODDL winter darts league now has its own page on this site.
